Greetings! My name is Lisa Balasa
I am a Romanian-American artist based in Detroit, Michigan.
Currently, I'm working towards a BFA in Animation at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, and I like to create stories.Also, I enjoy dinosaurs, aliens, Spiderman, linguistics, history, cowboys, and all things pizza.

Mash-up Boards
For these boards, I was assigned the task of boarding two sequences with the goal of them being a mash up of a pre-existing script and pre-existing characters from very different stories to create a mash-up board.
An additional part of the project was to not watch the original media the script is derived from as to form our own ideas based on the scripts.The following boards were a mash up of Xena and Korra

For this board, I was assigned the task of boarding a section of a "Choose your own adventure" style comic. The boards are a combination of roughs and clean boards. The red was to allow the script to still be visible on our pages as that was the director's request.
